Lawrence @ the Archer

Lawrence brought their family branding to the Archer and left the audience with an impression of the friendly side of corporate.

The first thing seen when entering the Archer for this performance is the amazing stage design to accompany “The Family Business Tour”. Bulletin boards and water coolers filled the stage and manage to get the “Corporate” across without seeming overbearing. The stage design actually speaks to show how soulful the group is how it truly is a Family Business, and one that the audience is a part of. Siblings Clyde and Gracie Lawrence started the band in 2016 with their debut album “Breakfast” and have come a long way since. This tour already being one of several they’ve put on in recent years, with no sign of them slowing down.

The focus of this tour being their aforementioned “Family Business” Album, where most of the tracks came from night of. However, Lawrence doesn’t shy away from getting the audience involved, after settling in around halfway through the setlist they began to let the audience vote on the next few songs they would play. The audience clearly showing interest in tracks from the 2021 Album “Hotel TV” voting in 3 songs off the album throughout the night.
